As per the document, this call for public participation only relates to a fraction of the total proposed development, namely Block E or 15 of the 117 unit development. Block E - subject to the EIA as per developer interpretation - constitutes only a small portion in the north western corner of the single erf 1526 to be developed. Please note that nowhere in any document made available to the Tamboerskloof Community is there any mention of the full extent of the proposed development.

Background and Proposed Project
‘The Lion’s Hill Development Company proposes the construction of Block E as part of the larger Lion’s Hill residential development on erf 1526, Tamboerskloof between Quarry Hill and De Hoop Avenue, Cape Town. The proposed three story 1123 sqm block includes 15 residential units ranging from one to three bedroom units and is situated on the north-eastern corner of the property.’
