Welcome to the Lion’s Watch site: a platform to keep you the resident and affected party informed and involved. This site contains all the available information [and interesting documents some wished you had never seen!] on a proposed 117 unit residential development planned for Tamboerskloof, called Lion’s Hill.

Most of the details pertaining to the proposed development are not known to the broader public, direct neighbours or other affected parties. We believe that it is your right and in your interest to know and be able to participate. The public participation process to date has been erroneously limited to only 15 of the 117 (13% of the total project!) proposed residential units.

The proposed development in its current form will have a significant impact on the Cape Town resident, whether they live right next door or on the other side of town.

Thank you to all who have provided assistance and advice. We encourage constructive engagement and involvement. This will have an impact on all of us for many decades to come.
